Not Bungy but Mingin Swing

Minjin Jungle Swing

Ferocious Mingin Swing in Full FlightAn Aboriginal legend lends this addictive bungy jumping variation its name.. the story goes the Minjin was a vicious cat-like creature who roamed the hillslopes of Cairns. Today's mountain devil takes off from the AJ Hackett bungy tower, as an intoxicating swing reaching speeds of up to 100kph. I bet your mum couldn't push you that fast!

One, two or three people can enjoy the Minjin Swing together in hang-gliding harnesses, suspended with stainless steel cables. Gravity provides the charge, and wooosh!, you're swinging above the rainforest faster than Tarzan ever did.

Those who have enjoyed the Minjin Swing before you claim it feels as though you are flying!

New Post

Hello! Missing you today.

I didn't say I did a bungy jump! Take it off otherwise I'll have to do it haha. Sky dive was crazy I've got the best DVD of it - can't wait to show you! It was a "Minjin swing" I did - not quite so crazy. Elise has grown up lots already! Ahh! I went to Lake McKenzie and a ship wreck today - the lake was crystal clear and amazing.

I'll catch up better soon xXx

LOVE YOU!

Hi again Nichola! - We are still reeling from the news of your bunjee jump, free fall from the sky, sailing trip etc. Its wonderful that you enjoyed it so much - but I like the bit best where you are relaxing on the sandy beaches, watching the turtles and the stars!!! Don`t think we thanked you for your card - we really appreciate that you took the time to write it and send it off to us. So THANK YOU AGAIN! We eagerly wait now to see where you`re off to next. All`s well here. Its a lovely sunny day - maybe 64 deg. (spose you think that`s freezing!) Love and hugs, and be happy XXXXXXXX

From Gail

Hi Nichola
Wish I could be with you on Frasier Island, it looks so beautiful. Must be nice to relax after the hair-raising activities you've been upto. I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos when you get back. Elise and I also had some thrills yesterday when we rode the 227 bus into downtown Penge, it went really fast ;o) I'm going out tomorrow evening to a Greek restaurant in Beckenham and hope Elise stays asleep and doesn't notice! Take care X

Kingfisher Bay Resort Frasier Island

World Heritage-listed Fraser Island is a rare and beautiful holiday destination, on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef, offering a refreshing change from the hustle of mainland Australia and the resort islands of Queensland’s north.

The island’s untamed wilderness and rugged, natural charm entices from the first, providing 4WD adventure and excitement, but also a relaxing atmosphere from your base at beautiful, eco-friendly Kingfisher Bay Resort.

Once here, slip into island living and explore the hundreds of tracks which criss-cross the world's largest sand island. Immerse yourself in the ancient rainforests, which flourish in dune valleys, coloured sand cliffs on Seventy-Five Mile Beach or the mirrored lakes, ringed with gold, which tempt even the most reluctant swimmers.

Nature’s art-gallery turns on seasonal exhibitions: wild spring flowers, lazy summer days, the colours of autumn and wintry wilderness. And all this is just a 45-minute flight from Brisbane and a short hop from Hervey Bay on the stunning Fraser Coast.

Nichole should now be at the Rockhampton Plaza Hotel details as follows from a review

Visited last in early August, 2007. I have been to Rockhampton a couple of times and have been realy impressed with the quality, service and price of Rockhampton Plaza Hotel particularly.
The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and the beds are very comfortable!
I always eat at the restaurant.. the food is amazing!
The bar is a great place to socialise and meet up with friends over a few drinks with a great big plasma tv!
The staff are always friendly and ready to help you out.
I would recommend this hotel, they are doing a great job! Everytime I visit there have been improvements made under the new management/ownership!
